SETTLED ESTATE REFERENCE NOTES
A probate document reading log
Give each document a short reading record. Keep its filename, page number and the sentence you want to revisit in the same place. This printable sheet leaves space for those details.
Use the document's printed title as the label. A filename on your computer can differ from that title, so the sheet has a field for each. Add the page number beside the passage you saved. Keep your own note below the passage so you can find the quoted words again.
The last two fields leave room for a question and the person or office you plan to ask. Keep each unanswered question visible. The sheet gives no answer about a court's requirements or your role in an estate.
